Mr. Nate Hagens

Nate Hagens is completing his Ph.D. in Natural Resources with a specialization in Ecological Economics at the University of Vermont's Gund Institute. Formerly, Nate received an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago and had a career at Salomon Brothers, Lehman Brothers and Sanctuary Asset Management. Nate's research focuses on 'net energy' and environmental externalities on the energy supply side, and the evolutionary drivers of human conspicuous consumption on the demand side. Nate is also an editor of The Oil Drum.
